The second printing draft of Death by Holga: 11.22.63 by M. C. Roman is going to the printer today. Corrections were made to the cover size and the quality of a few images. Formatting improvements include title fonts and paragraph spacing. This is a much better version. We can’t wait to see a printed version. Cheers.
We received the first draft of Death by Holga: 11.22.63 by M. C. Roman. As expected, there are some adjustments to be made to the cover and some of the photographs. We are committed to creating a high quality book. Changes will be made tomorrow and another proof will be pulled by week end. Stay tuned.
Death by Holga by M. C. Roman is done being written and is ready for printing. A draft print is being made and will be available in a few days. This is a very exciting moment for Dallas Art Press as a sample of our first book is printed and bound for our inspection. We want to create only the highest quality fine art books.
We are in the process of finding a Dallas printer for Death by Holga: 11.22.63. Dallas is rich with industry and a quality printer at an affordable price should not be hard to find. We found a very viable printer near Southern Methodist University. The book printing representative is very knowledgeable about book printing, binding and selling. We like that.
M. C. Roman photographed three Kennedy babies at Dealey Plaza for Death by Holga: 11.22.63. The three women (Octavia Thomas Crawford, Paige Peterson and Heather Hackett) were born in Dallas on Friday, November 22, 1963. This was the first time they had met, yet they all share a significant birth date. Their stories will be included in the book.
Kennedy assassination witness and armature photographer Mary Ann Moorman (now Krahmer) was photographed by M. C. Roman for his book, Death by Holga: 11.22.63. Ms. Krahmer was kind enough to pose in front of the former Texas School Book Depository in Dealey Plaza.
M. C. Roman photographed 602-604 Elsbeth Street, the former apartment of Lee Harvey Oswald, for Death by Holga: 11.22.63. The apartment was scheduled for demolition. Roman met the owner and radio host Gordon Keith while photographing the dilapidated abode.
